Blood Donation Camp September 2024

On 15th September, a blood donation camp was organised at Sindhu Nagar Ganeshotsav Mandal, Jaripatka.
Though only 17 units of blood was collected, but according to the blood bank officials it was a good number keeping in mind the current scenario of viral infections.
According to IMA guidelines – blood donation should not be done by people suffering from Chikungunya, Dengue or any likewise diseases encountered in the past 6 months.
Because of this reason, 35 people were found not eligible.
