Nirmalaya Project 2024

  • Like every year, RCNN along with the Rotractors participated in the Nirmalaya project on the Ganesh Visarjan day i.e 16 and 17 September.
  • Nagpur Municipal Corporation appeals to the citizens to adopt Eco-friendly idol immersion.
  • For this NMC installs artificial tanks at Various locations for immersing the Ganesh Idol, thus protecting the lakes and the entire lake ecosystem from getting polluted.
  • Also Nirmalaya Kalash is installed to collect Nirmalaya (Garland, flowers, Jau, Plastic bags, photos, coconut etc.) and care is taken that these are not put in the water tanks.
  • For handling all this, large no. of volunteers are required by NMC. Our Rotarians, Anns and Rotractors join hands with NMC and volunteer this noble initiative.
